Metroplex Sort System
Location: Oakland International Airport
Description: This project included the complete electrical installation of an owner furnished conveyor control system. The new fully automated Sort System included over two hundred motor drives. D. W. Nicholson Corporation provided all aspects of electrical installation; from rigging and setting Metroplex's (Motor Control Centers), to power distribution, to multi-point I/O devices, all to ensure the operation of a very sophisticated Sort/Tracking Conveyor system.
