Estimators / Project Manager Requirements

• Perform estimating functions applicable to selected "bid" projects
• Attend all pre-bid job walks
• Review project plans and specifications
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and material pricing
• Prepare subcontractor bid list and submit drawings to subcontractors
• Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules
• Perform post-bid buyouts
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently and possess the ability to bring a project in on time and on budget
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Responsible to maintain and develop both new and existing customer relationships
• Includes job site visits of ongoing projects to verify progress of construction
• Candidate must be computer literate, and possess Excel knowledge

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or 10 years working knowledge of construction costs and principles in Mechanical Estimating, Structural Steel, or Piping
• AutoCad is a plus / not a requirement
